A Birthday Party at Loughrea Kids Cook is the most hassle-free party a parent could choose, you have no preparation or cleaning up to do. You are also not required to supervise the party.

Qualified Chef Vernice Moloney can even take care of the cake and goody bags.
Children as young as five get to have fun making their own PIZZA from scratch, then sit and eat it together as a group and enjoy the BIRTHDAY CAKE. If that wasn’t enough they Make, Bake and Decorate CUPCAKES to take home.

This is a truly magical experience for any Birthday Child and their Friends.
Three photos of the party group on request is also possible.

All parties include ingredients, drinks, aprons,hats, plates, cups, napkins and a copy of recipes for all to try out at home.

Parties cater for up to 8 children and can be booked for a Friday, Saturday or Sunday for a duration of 3 hours, with a Qualified Chef who is Fully Insured. To book, phone Vernice on 087 2125277.

You will be asked to pay a deposit to hold the date and time, the balance can be paid on the day of the party.

The LoughRea Hotel and Spa are currently recruiting for a full-time Permanent

Store Person to join LoughRea Hotel Team.

Main Purpose of Position:

To support the Head Chef, Operations Manager, Accommodation Manager in maintaining the smooth running of the Stores.

Responsibilities include:

  • Check all deliveries and match against order forms.
  • Check all items for Quality and Best Before Dates. Label items with storage details and allocated to storage areas.
  • Complete Orders, enter details of received delivery slips, requisitions and invoices into the computer.
  • Count and record the number of items in store during stock take and re-order according to levels.
  • To be familiar and comply to all requirements, rules and regulations of the hotel with specific regard to:
    • HACCP
    • Hygiene
    • Fire Procedures
    • Health and safety at work
    • Security regulations

Ensure all cleaning schedules are adhered to on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.

  • Clean and organise the storage areas (stock rotation), toilets and canteen and ensure clean net and tidy.
  • Security of Storage
  • Structure delivery times with Suppliers.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous working experience in a similar role.
  • Availability to work full time Tuesday to Saturday 7:30am – 3:30pm

Technical Support Team, working the night shift. Within this position you will initially
be provided the opportunity to work from home, however as we grow this team, we

The ideal candidate will be provided with 6-8 weeks training. This training will take place
during normal office working hours 9am- 5.15pm, Monday – Friday.

In this role, you will provide support to internal and external users in an efficient and
accurate manner. You will solve basic technical problems and ensure that customer
value is maintained to high standards.

Core Activities:

  • Providing first point of contact to customer issues world-wide
  • Delivering excellent technical support to internal and external Clients;
  • Responding to emails & phone calls promptly and delivering appropriate
    resolutions in line with Service Level Agreements;
  • Taking responsibility for the proper escalation of unresolved queries to the next
    level of support and redirect problems to correct resources when necessary.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Fluent in both verbal and written English;
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work on own initiative;
  • Good knowledge of computers and adaptable to using various systems;
  • Skills in the following areas – Organisation, Multi-tasking, Problem Solving,
    Presenting Technical Information, Analysing Information, Decision Making,
    Informing Others;
  • Excellent attention to detail;
  • Full training will be provided but previous Customer Service experience is
    desirable
  • Authorised to live and work in Ireland.
