Karate classes starting at Temperance Hall

Shito-Ryu Itosu-Kai Karate classes are starting at Temperance Hall, Loughrea, with beginners’ sessions commencing on Monday 15th and Wednesday 17th September 2025.

Classes for juniors and adults run from 7:30–8:30pm, welcoming everyone over 8 years of age, including ladies and gents.

Participants should wear loose clothing, and each session costs €7, with annual club membership also available.

Karate offers more than just self-defence. It is a complete way to maintain fitness, develop discipline, experience competitive sport, and build lasting friendships. Instruction includes traditional Kobudo weaponry, and the club is fully registered with the Federation of All Japan Karate-Do, Shito-Ryu Itosu-Kai, and All Japan Kobudo Association.
