Preparing for Cemetery Sunday 2026

Cemetery Sunday at The Carmelite Abbey will take place on Sunday, 16th August 2026 at 6 p.m.

As we prepare for this special occasion, graveyard plot owners are kindly asked to help with the cleaning and upkeep of family graves in advance.

Voluntary assistance will be available every Thursday evening throughout June and July at 7 p.m.
Any help and support from the community would be greatly appreciated.

We thank everyone for helping to keep the cemetery cared for and respectful ahead of Cemetery Sunday.
