O’Grady Claims First GB4 Victory of the Season

Alex O’Grady enjoyed a breakthrough weekend at Oulton Park, claiming his first win of the season in the second race of the weekend on Monday.

The young Loughrea driver produced an excellent performance from pole position, making a strong start, managing an early safety car restart, and leading home championship leader Fred Green by 2.6 seconds at the chequered flag.

Following an exciting opening-lap battle between the pair on Saturday, O’Grady quickly took control of Monday’s race and steadily extended his advantage throughout.

The result leaves O’Grady sitting second overall in the GB4 Championship standings, with three podium finishes from the opening six races of the season.

His next outing comes at Donington Park in June, where he will look to continue his impressive form.
