Loughrea Triathlon Club Seeks Race Director for 2027 Event

Loughrea Triathlon Club is looking for a volunteer Race Director to lead the organisation of Loughrea Triathlon 2027, one of the club’s flagship events.

The club is hoping to have a new Race Director in place by the end of October, ahead of the upcoming race bid application deadline with Triathlon Ireland.

Full support and guidance will be provided to help the successful volunteer settle into the role and ensure a smooth handover. As part of the transition, it is proposed that the 2027 event will be an adults-only race.

Anyone interested in finding out more about the role is encouraged to get in touch for an informal chat, with no obligation to commit.

For further information, contact Tomas at predatorchairperson@gmail.com.

The club is keen to ensure the continued success of Loughrea Triathlon and is encouraging anyone with an interest in getting involved to consider taking on the role.
