Loughrea St. Patrick’s Day Parade Returns with Theme “Music and Celebration”

Loughrea is set to come alive with colour, creativity and community spirit on Tuesday, 17 March, as the annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade kicks off at 1pm in the heart of the town. This year’s theme, “Music and Celebration” (Ceol is Ceiliúradh), invites participants and spectators alike to embrace the joy, rhythm and cultural vibrancy that define the national holiday.

Exhibitors and parade participants are asked to assemble at 12.30pm in the Barrack Street Car Park (Teacht le chéile: Carrchlós Shráid na Beairce, 12.30in), where stewards will coordinate the running order and final preparations.

Residents and visitors are encouraged to line the streets, support the participants, and enjoy a festive afternoon celebrating Irish heritage and creativity.

Organisers extend their thanks to all volunteers, sponsors and community partners whose support ensures the continued success of the parade.
