Monthly Family Carers Support Group

Family Carers Ireland hosts a monthly Support Group for all current and former family carers.

Meetings are held at St Brendan’s Nursing Unit, Lake Road, Loughrea, on the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 7:30–9:30pm.

Designed for those caring for a loved one with additional needs or who have done so in the past the group provides a welcoming, non-judgemental space to take a break from the caring routine, connect with others who understand, and make new friends. Participants can also learn about the range of free services and supports available to family carers.
