Naomh Breandan Credit Union Named Finalist in Four Categories at 2025 All Ireland Credit Union Awards

Naomh Breandan Credit Union has been officially shortlisted as a finalist in four prestigious categories at the upcoming All Ireland Credit Union Awards 2025. The national event, celebrating excellence and impact within the credit union, will be held on Saturday, 18th October, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Dublin. The Loughrrea credit union, Naomh Breandan Credit Union, has earned recognition across a broad range of areas, highlighting its outstanding leadership, innovation, and community impact.

The shortlisted categories include:

Distinguished Leader of the Year, with David McDonnell nominated for his exceptional leadership.

Social Dividend Initiative (Sustainability), recognising the credit union’s ongoing work in promoting the Sustainable Development Goals and enhancing the environmental wellbeing of Loughrea and its surrounding areas.

Volunteer of the Year, with Kathleen Doringo and Juliana Alaldi acknowledged for their dedication and service.

Best Innovation Project Award.
