Naughton’s Podium Finish for St Brigid’s College, Loughrea

Ben Naughton, representing St Brigid’s College, Loughrea, delivered an impressive performance in the Junior Boys 1500m at the 123.ie All-Ireland Schools Track and Field Championships held in Tullamore on Friday 30th and Saturday 31st May 2025.

Starting the final bend in fifth place, Ben showed exceptional grit and determination, powering down the home straight to claim a sensational silver medal.

Congratulations to Ben on this success, and recognition is due to his coach, Mary Barrett, for her expert guidance and support throughout his journey.
