Loughrea Lions Club encouraging donations of unwanted spectacles
Loughrea Lions Club are encouraging people to donate unwanted spectacles, which can be recycled to third world countries, helping people with poor eyesight who normally could not afford to purchase spectacles.
The spectacles are boxed and despatched via DPD couriers to MEDICO LIONS CLUBS de FRANCE in Le Harve.
3 million pairs are accepted annually and are shipped to Africa, Asia, South America and Europe.
