Date Announced for Free Electrical Recycling Day in Loughrea

A free Electrical Recycling Day for householders in Loughrea will take place on Saturday, 9 May 2026, from 10am to 4pm at Loughrea Mart, Station Road, H62 AV97.

The event is run by WEEE Ireland, offering the public an easy and environmentally friendly way to dispose of old or broken electrical items. Residents can bring anything with a plug or battery, including small appliances, IT equipment, power tools, toys, cables and more.

The collection is free of charge, and all items will be safely recycled in line with national WEEE regulations.
