Loughrea Friendly Business Awards Ceremony 2026

Celebrating the Heart of Our Community

The 2026 Friendly Business Awards Ceremony took place on May 16th at Comworks in Loughrea, bringing together the community for an evening dedicated to recognising outstanding local businesses. Following a fantastic nomination season, JCI Galway, supported by sponsor Naomh Breandan Credit Union, Loughrea, welcomed attendees from 5:30pm onward for a night centred on celebration and connection.

Throughout the event, businesses within the common bond area were honoured for setting the gold standard in Customer Care, Digital Experience, Accessibility, Staff Care and Wellbeing, Eco-friendliness, Layout and Design, and Community Impact across both for-profit and non-profit sectors.

37 Degrees Fitness was announced as the Community Impact Award winner, Lightnet received the Customer Care Award, and Solgrid took home the Digital Experience Award. More winners to follow.
