Loughrea RFC Senior Men’s Squad to Hold Pre-Season Meeting Ahead of 2026/27 Campaign

Loughrea RFC will officially begin preparations for the 2026/27 season with a pre-season kick-off meeting for the Senior Men’s squad on Thursday, 9th July at 7.30pm in the club grounds at Ballygasty.

The evening will give both returning and new players the opportunity to meet the coaching and management team, hear about the club’s plans and ambitions for the season ahead, and learn what will be expected both on and off the pitch.

Topics on the agenda include the club’s vision for the new season, training schedules, player expectations, registration, strength and conditioning, and preparations for upcoming pre-season fixtures. The coaching team will also outline the standards, values and commitment expected from everyone representing Loughrea RFC.

New players are especially encouraged to attend, with information on club facilities, support structures and how they can settle into the squad.

The meeting will conclude with an overview of the first training session before players take to the pitch to begin pre-season preparations.
