Loughrea Community Lights are asking for the whole community to help financially to support Loughrea’s festive community lights in any way possible.

Individuals can leave a donation in memory of a Loved One on the Loughrea Community Lights GoFundMe page https://gofund.me/75ca195d by commenting on your donation, PM https://www.facebook.com/Loughreacommunitylights or by emailing loughrealights@yahoo.com

All donations will be acknowledged on Loughrea Community Lights social media and throughout the Christmas period.

On Saturday, 19 November, Santa will arrive at Main Street, #Loughrea, @ 5pm, with Loughrea Fire Service to count down and switch on the 2022 Loughrea Christmas lights.

Loughrea Community Lights have announced the following:

‘Lights this year will be switched, with extras being revealed over the remainder of the month, this will include:

– Main Street/Bride Street/Dunkellin Street

– Fair Green Tree and display

– Barrack Street

– The Walks

– Cottage Hill

– Dublin Road

– Gort Road

– Corry’s Field

– Long Point

– Garrybreeda

and much more!’
