Thur. 11 June: Carmelite Abbey: In preparation for Cemetery Sunday, taking place at The Carmelite Abbey on Sunday, 16th August 2026 at 6 p.m., grave plot owners are kindly asked to tidy and maintain their family graves in advance. Voluntary assistance will be available every Thursday evening throughout June and July at 7 p.m. The support and participation of the community are sincerely appreciated.

Fri. 12 June: Sunflower Day for Galway Hospice this Friday. Volunteers will be collecting on Main Street, Loughrea, and all funds raised are used to support the work of the Galway Hospice.
