Meals on Wheels Volunteers

Loughrea Family & Community Resource Centre is seeking people to volunteer with their Meals on Wheels Service. Being a MOW volunteer involves a time commitment of 3 hours on a fortnightly basis.

Loughrea Meals on Wheels volunteers currently deliver an average of 150 meals per week on a daily basis to approximately 35 people, many of whom live alone. They are ideally placed to keep a “weather eye” on the meal recipients which gives great peace of mind to their families and friends.
